Playwriting Competition
Paul recently judged the first
ever 'Sheffield Live' Radio Play
competition, alongside his fellow
judge Sangita Basudev. The competition
drew a fantastic response from
playwrites around South Yorkshire
and the winner Mick Bower will
have the winning play 'Carol'
produced by 'Sheffield Live' for
broadcast on the radio some time
between 16 June - 13 July 2005.
'Sheffield Live' are also particularly
interested in getting people involved
in the broadcast who are interested
in speech based stuff this year.
So if you know local writers,
poets or presenters encourage

'Carol was broadcast on Sheffield
Live on FM radio on 11th July
at 6pm and again on the 13th of
July on the internet and drew
some fantastic responses. Click
